Honda Jazz which is also known as FIT in some part of the world is going to be most fuel efficient car not only in Japan but in the world.

The hybrid version of Honda’s next generation Fit (Jazz in some markets) will be the world’s most fuel-efficient car, beating current leader which by  Toyota’s  known as Prius c  worldwide and Aqua in Japan.

According to the Nikkei, a news angency in Japan,  the hybrid Fit achieves 36km per litre (102mpg) in Japan’s Transport Ministry test cycle known as JC08 and is by far world's highest fuel efficiency achieved by a car.

Hence it beats the current winner ie. Toyota Aqua’s 35.4km per litre and the Prius at 30km.

Until now, Honda’s most fuel efficient car has been the Accord Hybrid, also achieving 30km per litre, which went on sale last month.

However, I am not sure what would be the price of this one, but should be on  the premium side considering it is an Hybrid vehicle.
