Official DGR – 2015 Agra Details

Continuing the trend from last year for the social cause, this year again we are here with “DGR 2015” ride. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is organized worldwide to spread awareness and raise funds for research on prostate cancer. Globally more men are affected by prostate cancer than women are by breast cancer. Each year, one in nine men develop prostate cancer, and close to 500,000 men will die from the disease. In Agra, India, with the support of weRoyal Riders Motorcycling Club, DGR has orgnaized Gentlemans Ride to raise funds to aid research to find cure to this disease.

Again its been organized in Agra through “weRoyal Riders Motorcycling Club” however this time we have been joined by “Shambhavi Automotive Engineers, Baluganj, Talwalkars Fitness, HUM and Avenger Club Agra”. We are thankful for this organizations participating in Agra chapter of worldwide event.

Start Time : Sunday at 4:00 pm
Completion Time : Sunday 7:00 pm
Reporting Venue : St. Johns College, Agra.

Since it almost time for ride, there few rules and regulation for every riders need to follow.

Dress Code for the Gentlemen and Ladies:

For the ladies:
Any formal dress ethnic or western, with no loose hanging ends, suitable for riding on a motorcycle or scooter, accentuated with Suitable footwear.

For the Gentlemen:
Formal Suits: Tweed, Linen, Woolen as per weather conditions. To be worn with either a Tie, Bow tie or Cravat.

Semiformal:

Suitable for the young urban population. Jeans with tweed jackets, waistcoats or leather jackets. To be worn with either a Tie, bow tie or cravat.
Clean Shave or well kept beards both acceptable.

Shoes:
Formal shoes, boots, brogues all acceptable, however they should be well polished.

Bikes allowed on this event:

All classic bikes:
  Such as Triumph Bonneville, Royal Enfield Bullet, Classic 500 and the likes.
Bobbers:
  All bikes such as the Harley Davidson Iron 883 and the likes.
Café Racers:
  Such as the Royal Enfield Continental GT and the likes.
Cruisers:
  Such as the H D Heritage Softail, Super low, R E Thunder Bird, Hyosung Aquila and the likes.
Flat trackers:
  Customized Harleys, Triumphs, Royal Enfields etc.
Scooters:
  Classic scooters models of Vespa, Lambretta, and the likes.

Bikes not allowed on this event: Sports model bikes, such as Yamaha R1 or R15 , Duke , Apache and the likes.

Important information: All participating vehicles should be shiny and polished, just like their riders, to keep up with the spirit of the event.

**Helmets will be compulsory for all**
