If you are a Royal Enfield enthusiast like us then I am sure you have been already to Leh-Ladakh or planning to do so somewhere in near future. But do you know, surprisingly there is no official service station for Royal Enfield in that Himalyan region, but not anymore as to support all those Royal Enfield Riders visiting Leh, Royal Enfield has opened its first ever Service Station on Leh-Manali.
As per official announcement by Royal Enfield on their social media channels, “For over 60years, the Himalayas have been traversed by Royal Enfield riders, and today we have come to call Ladakh our spiritual home. To support these adventurous riders and explorers better, we are proud to open our first-ever Service Center at Leh.”
This move has been already appreciated by RE riders all around as it was a long awaited move. Many riders even questioned Royal Enfield that what took them so long to open it.
Though Riders who plans for Leh trip are mostly well prepared, not only mentally, physically but also with their bikes. But after all bikes are just machines, they can develop faults when you least expect it. Before this service station in Leh, local mechanics were at the rescue but now Riders will have better and more professional choice to get their bike fixed, top-upped or serviced by Royal Enfield trained mechanics.

But it is always advised to be always well prepared for any ride be it long or short so that you don’t have to visit any kind of service center during rides. Ofcourse on long rides, when there is need (like oil change etc.), there is nothing wrong in visiting service center.
