Bajaj Auto, which is one of the largest two wheeler manufacturer in the world has launched a new variant in the discover series as Bajaj Discover 125T. The new 125cc Bajaj Discover 125T bike is little stripped down version of their previously launched Discover 125ST which was launched almost a year ago.
Bajaj who is following policy of launching multiple variant of same bike in order to boost sales have added this bike with very subtle differences. The main difference between Bajaj Discover 125T and Bajaj Discover 125ST is the rear mono shock suspension which is replaced with twin gas filled shock absorbers in Discover 125T. In terms of visual appearance , you will not see any other difference apart of the rear shock absorbers. On the other hand, Bajaj has also worked a little on engine in order to improve efficiency, the new Bajaj Discover 125T has 124.66cc 4 valve engine which produces 12.5PS of power @ 9000rmp and 10.8Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. Hence now there is difference about 0.5 PS in power of both bikes. It sports same five speed gearbox which powers 125ST variant. Now the bike gives overall fuel efficiency of 66Kmpl as claimed by the company.
The bike is available in two variants, the Discover 125T Drum costs Rs. 52500 (ex. showroom Delhi) and the disc brake version cost nearby Rs. 55500 (ex. showroom Delhi). The bike gives 105 kmph of top speed and has a DC headlight system to provide commuter with flicker free solution.
