Destiny Angel – A motorcycle with glass fuel tank and vivid details based on Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350

Recently we featured a custom Royal Enfield named “Oriel Angel” by R&G Custom, it was well received all around for its massive instance and sublime appearance. Today we are again featuring another bike from R&G Custom, they had built it a while ago and its been already part of various Motorcycle shows. Meant to exhibit their creativity and innovative work, the bike is called “Destiny Angel”.

At first glance, you will be taken away by its impressive details and creativity. It can literally give you goose-bumps through the sheer amount of customization involved in this build. There are lots of things in this bike which you may have not seen before or atleast are very rare in a motorbikes. To start with its most prominent features is its custom 13 liter fuel tank which is made completely out of glass. In fact, one of the first question asked about this bike is for its glass fuel tank and its usability on real rods. And the builders have the right answer for it, Raju and Ganesh from R&G Custom have made it using toughened, highly tempered, shock proof and shatter proof glass. Which means, not just for visual pleasure, the glass tank also serves practically in real life condition.

The fuel tank is profoundly housed in metal casing which adds even more glitter to the bike through wise use of paintwork on it. As you can see below, the fuel is visible all around from the tank giving it a unique style.

When asked about inspiration behind this build, Ganesh at R&G Customs said, “We in India adore the international standard and once a guys from Netherlands came to us, showed me the photo of a bike made out of glass tank asked me if we can do something similar or better. And hence, it was a kind of challenge for us which we accepted promptly and here you go, we have The Destiny Angel.

They said, during build process, it was the most daunting task ie. the glass tank and we failed it many times to get it right. Not only the glass tank, the bike also features unique leaf spring suspension on front as well as rear wheel. It has been crafted in such a way that it blends well in over all design with a bit chrome, black and prominent branding of name “Destiny Angel”. In the end you get a bike which is by no mean a standard bike you may have seen before.

They have used keystone type of handlebar in this bike with some fancy string coming out of both ends of it, for some it could be a matter of love it or hate it. But this again blends well in the overall appearance of this custom motorcycle. With touch of vintage style and modern Koshi Fish paint job gives a feeling of toughness and at the same time is cool and relaxing. Also you get a vintage era leather saddle seat with a small saddle bag beneath it, just at the right place.

They have used Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350cc to create this gem, it took them around 3 months to complete this build. The bike is said to glow in dark because of use of 7 interchangeable LED color lights. Overall, the bike has been heavily customized with in-house handlebar, headlamp, fender stay and list goes on. They have also mangled with frame to get it right. We hope they will continue to embrace us with their more and upcoming beautiful work. Meanwhile, here we have some more pictures of bike.
