Oriel Angel – Custom Royal Enfield Classic 500 turned into heavy weight cruiser

Bike customization and modification is something which creates a majestic feeling for every rider who owns a custom build. That’s because custom build not only gives you inner satisfaction, you also know that you are the only owner of this work in the world and you are going to inspire and impress many. Today, we are featuring one such build by R&G Customs named as Oriel Angel.

Oriel Angel - the heavy weight.

Oriel Angel – the heavy weight.

The bike is cross between Brat Bobber and a Cruiser. But no matter from whatever angle you see the bike, you can see a bike with heavy instance and road presence. It is built keeping one thing in mind that it should look massive. With a wide low-drag handlebar which is also created in-house by R&G Customs as usual as we saw in their previous work like “Flying Angel” and super wide and beefy 150x90x15 rear and front wheels, it is screaming to be noticed by everyone.

This machine gives old school feeling with its vibrant paint job as well beefy instance of modern world. If you are a person who loves Royal Enfield and wished to see it more meatier and heavier then I am sure you will jump out instantly and want to ride this one. In the bike, they have prudentially used existing Royal Enfield gene yet the final product looks completely different bike. For example, bike’s oval side panel is used for their prominent logo display, similarly on left side battery compartment, good branding. Beside the panels, they have frame pipe of RE chassis to give their own unique touch and have again used in-house panels instead of default RE storage panels. I wish they had stretched the chassis a little bit more but still the bike maintains proportions appropriately.

Royal Enfield genes intact yet looks like completely new bike.

Apart of beefy wheels, the other interesting feature is its super wide front fork. Naturally to accommodate this much wide tyres, they had to design custom front fork housing and to give it exclusive presence, they have subtly carved retro-modern plate which houses the front head light assembly, and after that they have used a tiny speedometer along with small turn indicators lights, it makes bike to appear even bigger.

Like a cruiser, they have also worked on foot pegs and I am sure bike provides a comfortable riding position suitable for long rides. With combination of Black, old school orange and rally strips with touch of chrome, you get not so sophisticated build yet strong enough to impress anyone. We hope Raju and Ganesh (which also stands for R&G) comes with more custom builds in future.

And here we have some of the pictures of the bike during build process :
